Baymont by Wyndham Rolla

We are Tim and Debby Stratman and we had an unexpected and sudden appointment we had to be at in Missouri. We live in New Mexico and had two rough collies we would have to take with us for this trip. We contacted the Baymont by Wyndham in Rolla, MO directly as we had such short notice and it was near the Fourth of July holiday. Debby is in a wheelchair to add to the additional conditions of our stay at the Baymont by Wyndham. We spoke with Miss Tiffany, who will never tell what mountains she moved to accommodate us, but she made a nine day booking a room for her personal. We felt so welcomed over the phone and such care and concern about what we needed to make this all happen. You would have thought the Baymont by Wyndham in Rolla MO was as concerned as well that we have a room there. Everyone was so accommodating to ensure we had all we needed to find our parking to accommodate our dogs and Debby in the wheelchair. We had a luggage cart which we were able to use parked right at the front of the hotel. It was a very short walk back to the front to go up to the room. We had all the towels, etc. needed for our visit and required nothing additional. They had a very nice area for breakfast which was served each day and very nice. There was a grassy spot or so we could walk our collies as well. The staff were helpful, alert and friendly and it felt very safe being outside of the Baymont by Wyndham in Rolla MO, day or night. We ate at all the near restrauants for our meals. The cleaning staff was the very, very best and friendly, thorough and would make sure we had all we needed for our stay. The front desk staff would always speak and be sure we weren't needing anything else or could they assist us when we would pass on our way out each day. It has a lovely front lobby to sit and visit and we had out of town visitors who visited there. Thank you to Miss Tiffany and all the staff and help. We look forward to our next stay.

Staff was really nice. Beds were amazing. I loved the hot tub and the pool. Missed breakfast so I couldn’t tell ya if it was good or not! The place was really clean.It was nice and quiet. Slept like a baby. All and all I had no problems. We really enjoyed it.

Staff was really nice. Beds were comfy and room clean. The furniture (chair) could use a good cleaning but tolerable. The pool area needs some attention. The tiles were coming off the edges. We haven't had breakfast yet, so I can't comment on that. Check-in and check-out super easy and communication from hotel w/status updates is great.

It was easy to check in with the staff at the front desk and the pool looked beautiful. However the hallway had an unusual smell as we walked to our room on the second floor. Thank goodness the room did not have the same smell. Our room was spacious and clean with a nice desk and desk chair along with another occasional chair. While my husband was able to log into the WiFi, neither my iPad or iPhone were able to connect … they just spun for hours. The refrigerator in our room was broken with a tray underneath it catching water. While we had plenty of towels, they were very worn and yellow. When I went to get a printed receipt and check out, the only counter person was on the phone with another customer and while she printed the receipt, didn’t bother to ask how our stay was or utter a “thank you”. Another person asked if I had been helped and she shooed them away … at least I could have made my complaint about the fridge to her and not on this review! Not the best Baymont we’ve stayed at, but better than many other low cost “travelers” hotels.

The front manager was very rude and strict. There was bugs in our room and when we arrived in our room the bath tub wasn’t clean and had hair in it.

Very clean. Quiet. Nice beds. Kinda out of the way but there's restaurants nearby. Denny's and Waffle House. Close to interstate but really quiet.
